AUSTRALIAN rockers Cold Chisel are coming to the UK.
The legendary Aussie outfit, led by frontman Jimmy Barnes, have been named on the bill for this summer’s Hard Rock Calling festival in London’s Hyde Park on 13 July.
Playing with the newly reunited American ‘grunge’ rockers Soundgarden (Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd) and the godfathers of punk – Iggy & The Stooges; Cold Chisel’s return to the English capital will definitely excite most expat Australians.
Also on the bill for Hard Rock Calling this year is Bruce Springsteen who will headline the London concert on 14 July and Paul Simon who will headline 15 July.
Hard Rock Calling is set in Hyde Park in the heart of London and has fully established itself as one of the UK’s most popular outdoor music events. The stage at Hard Rock Calling has attracted some of the biggest musicians and bands in the world, with previous headliners including The Who, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel, Pearl Jam, The Police, the Killers, Rod Stewart and Bon Jovi.
