Ride-sharing app giant Uber is rolling out its very first GPS guided, self-driving cars to passengers in the city of Pittsburgh.

Some analysts suggest that Uber will ultimately be able to free itself of its drivers and offer only driverless rides via the app. However Uber have said that eventuality is unlikely.
“Self-driving is core to Uber’s mission,” Anthony Levandowski, Uber’s vice president of engineering said, according to AFP. But the company insists that its future includes cars of the human driven and computer piloted kind.
