Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a subtle appearance at Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee. Notably, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not appear on the balcony with her royal highness.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make a comeback to the royals
This year marks 2 years since Meghan and Prince Harry have attended a big royal event. So far, the mum of two is yet to have the Queen meet her great-grandchild called Lilibet.
According to 7News, Meghan Markle is set to bring one-year-old Lilibet to meet her grandmother for the first time this Saturday. So far, the name carries much significance as this is the name many of the close royals have called Queen Elizabeth.
Since leaving the royals, Meghan Markle and Prince have started their own lives away from the royals in California. This came out of concerns for Meghan’s mental health following some incidents with the royals.
Balcony restricted to senior working royals only
In the much-awaited interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan shared some experiences at the royal house in which she was handled wrongly. Moreover, Meghan shared one of the royals had concerns about what color her baby – who is now born to be called Archie, would be.

To date, this sparked a brief crisis at the palace. As both Meghan Markle and Harry shared some of what affected them while working with the royals full-time.
At the Jubille, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were notably missing from the balcony at Buckingham Palace. But, this was so as the Queen restricted the balcony for the senior working royals at the palace.
Thus far, the only missing person at the Jubilee was Prince Andrew who couldn’t attend. This comes as he tested positive for Covid-19.
