Personal trainer Norman low has been banned from giving nutritional advice to his clients after it was discovered that he did not have the necessary credentials to do so.
The trainer has since been banned from giving any dietary and nutritional advice after he told his client to stop taking the prescribed medication the client needed to take.
Unsafe and Inappropriate diet plans
The South Australian trainer’s diet plans were found to be unsafe and inappropriate as the plans can have serious nutrient defects which could in effect be detrimental.
Not only can his health advice cause serious health issues but can cause cardiac arrest in which many are not always able to survive.
Associate Professor Grant Davies advises anyone who is still using these plans to stop using them immediately as these plans were not developed by a dietician.
Mr Low will still be a personal trainer
From today onwards, personal trainer Norman Low will be permanently banned from claiming he is an accredited dietician and giving health advice that extends past basic healthy eating information.
Mr. Low will still, however, be able to be a personal trainer.
In one of his plans, the trainer instructed the client to have 9 liters of water that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest if followed. He further instructed his client to stop using all oral medications that could also lead to detrimental effects.
These life-threatening plans are but a few of the bizarre instructions the trainer has given to his clients.
