Which Learning Styles Suit You Best, According to Your Zodiac Sign
There are seven major learning styles that individuals may encounter in their lives. However, astrology tells us that some learning styles mesh better with our personality than others.
The Seven Learning Styles
Learning styles can be categorized into seven broad classes, namely:
Linguistic Learners: These prefer the written word and reading what others have written.
Spatial Learners: The interplay of things works well to explain ideas to this learner. They benefit from visual pictures and patterns.
Interpersonal Learners: These benefit from a group of people and the dynamic between the group members to learn.
Intrapersonal Learners: Lectures that allow the participant to “digest” what’s being said are best for this type of learner.
Bodily-Kinesthetic Learners: Using the body to describe how something works is the best way to explain how these individuals learn.
Musical Learners: Music helps these people tie ideas together, and it’s a crucial part of their learning process.
Logical mathematical Learners: These individuals use logic and math to merge ideas.
A learning style may suit a person very well or very poorly. The only way to know for sure is to try each and see what works best. However, as horoscopes describe a person’s personality, they could factor into what learning outcomes appeal the most to a person. Whether doing a lab or looking for a complete online way to write my assignment, you should know how you learn to make the most out of any of these scenarios.
Horoscopes and Learning Outcomes
Horoscopes have a greater impact on people’s life than we might assume. Improving your grades in college depends on figuring out what learning style appeals to your personality early on and applying that style to you. To help you narrow down what learning style suits you best, let’s examine your horoscope:
Aries
As an Aries, you learn best physically. This means you’re better off with spatial learning, as it engages you most thoroughly. You may also benefit significantly from Bodily-Kinesthetic learning methods, as those engage your body and help you associate ideas with bodily movements.
Linguistics and logical puzzles are not your strong point. These types of learning tend to be less impactful, as Aries doesn’t benefit much from having ideas thrown at it mentally. If Aries can’t interact with the concept physically, it becomes impossible to grasp.
Taurus
A Taurus also skews toward Bodily-Kinesthetic learning. Tauruses are big on feeling the difference in things, and Bodily-Kinesthetic learning gives them the chance to relate that feeling to something physical. These learners can easily explore ideas they can connect with, allowing them to search for conclusions others may not have.
On the downside, group dynamics disrupt these learners. Interpersonal and interpersonal learning is the weakest way to teach these individuals. Learning solo is beneficial since it allows them to tap into the full depth of their feelings and experiences.
Gemini
Geminis like puzzling things out via text, so they are the ideal linguistic learners. Given a wall of text, Geminis can figure out the pertinent bits and what doesn’t help them in the overall scheme. In this way, they can separate the good information from the rest of the padding to draw conclusions.
Language-based learners like Geminis have difficulty grasping Music learning or logical learning. Abstract ideas can become muddled for them, making it hard to sort out what is true and what isn’t. While words are their forte, anything that doesn’t involve words puts them at a distinct disadvantage.
Cancer
Mathematical and meticulous, Cancer is the ideal logical learner. They can collect and collate seemingly unrelated information, drawing conclusions from them through rational questioning. They might not learn things at the fastest rate, but their ability to connect disparate ideas is beyond question.
Unfortunately, words are not the strongest point for this type of learner. Cancers can have a hard time taking pertinent information from texts and may have the bad habit of skipping walls of text altogether, having to go back and parse the information again.
Leo
Leos are, by nature, loners. However, because of this, they can adopt a wide variety of learning styles equally well. They work well on spatial learning projects as well as linguistic learning. By adapting their focus to each learning style, they can use them effectively to their own ends.
Unfortunately, group work is the downfall of Leos. They don’t work well in groups, even with star signs that they click with. Generally, group work leads to frustration for the Leo, as they are always left chasing after group members and trying to get them to do their part.
Virgo
Virgo always looks at the best and most efficient way of doing things. Thanks to their focus on thinking logically, they are great logical learners. They can adapt their learning to pick up nuanced ideas that are logical and mathematical by design.
The downside of depending on logical thinking is that it tends to exclude linguistic learning. While Virgos can adapt their knowledge to spatial reasoning, they cannot learn effectively from walls of text. In some fields of study, this could be a disadvantage for them.
Libra
As a sign that loves meeting and interacting with other people, interpersonal and intrapersonal learning comes naturally to Libras. They are very good at helping others understand complex ideas in a group and getting the group members to pull their weight.
Most learning styles that require isolation are not the ones that appeal to Libras. While they can learn using many other styles when with others, they have difficulty applying that sort of learning by themselves. Self-study is not the ideal way for Libras to learn.
Scorpio
Scorpios enjoy experiencing things and have a much better rate of success when doing visual and spatial learning. Their ability to translate images into ideas is crucial in helping them grasp concepts and linking them together. Scorpios like having things before them to experiment with and find what works.
The other side of the coin is that Scorpios are not very good at extracting ideas from text. Text-based and linguistic learning tend to cause Scorpios to stumble and are the least ideal way for them to grasp concepts.
Sagittarius
As naturally physical people, Sagittariuses are much better suited to physical learning styles, like bodily-kinesthetic and spatial learning. Sagittariuses are more concerned with the hands-on element of education. If someone teaches them to do something, they prefer trying it themselves to prove to themselves they have the concept right.
Conceptual learning, like spatial methods, are least effective for this horoscope. They can’t wrap their heads around the ideas presented. Over time, a Sagittarius learner may be able to put these ideas together, but it’s not likely they can do it over a short period.
Capricorn
Capricorns are naturally logical thinkers, and they default to this learning style. They feel at home in a traditional classroom setting and tend to be the highest achievers in regular classes. Finding an answer to them is fun because it’s based on their ability to puzzle out potential solutions and find the most logical one.
Sadly, text-based learning is Capricorns’ weak point. Because they are so logical, spatial thinking may also defeat them since it requires some connection between abstract ideas. While Capricorns are adaptable, they face some challenges if they have to convert their natural learning style to something they’re not familiar with.
Aquarius
Being the loners that they are, Aquarius typically benefits from solitary learning styles but isn’t limited in scope. They can learn well on their own regardless of linguistic or spatial reasoning. This adaptability makes them good learners in a wide range of environments.
Aquarius learners have problems when put into groups of other people. They can’t control how things go, and learning outcomes arise, so they are lost when surrounded by group members. Interpersonal and intrapersonal learning are the natural banes to Aquarius learners.
Pisces
Pisces tends to enjoy a challenge and as such prefers to work alongside others. Group learning settings such as intrapersonal and interpersonal learning work best for them. Other learning outcomes may also work, but only in a group setting.
No matter what learning method is used, solo learning appeals to this horoscope the least. Solo learning tends to lead to distraction without much retention of information.
Learning Outcomes Depend on Your Style
Not every student will mesh with a particular learning style. A lot of what we know about learning styles is still being solidified, and these styles might change in the future. For now, however, we can figure out which types are best suited to which zodiac signs, given how those signs typically operate.
