The 2015 ARIA Awards have been doled out, the after parties have fizzled out and memories have been made and lost.
Tame Impala cemented their place as Australian music’s current (ahem) kings by nabbing three awards, including the ‘big one’ of Album of the Year, while relative newcomer Courtney Barnett laid claim to the queen’s throne with three gongs of her own.
Quote of the night also goes to Tame Impala, with Kevin Parker saying of their scooping the Best Group award, “Did we just beat AC/DC in something?”
