Aussie gay classic The Sum of Us now on in London

A hit Off-Broadway and later an award-winning film starring Russell Crowe, this comic drama from a brilliant Australian writer follows a young gay man and his straight father as they both search for “the one”.

Can they help each other without creating chaos as they navigate dating services, homophobia and more? Poignant, defiant and hugely progressive for its time, The Sum of Us remains a fresh and funny, must-see gay classic.

Gene David Kirk, former Artistic Director of Jermyn Street Theatre, directs an all Australian cast fresh from a successful run of Closer To Heaven by Jonathan Harvey and Pet Shop Boys at the Union Theatre.
