Ed Sheeran and his wife have somehow managed to keep the news about their second child under wraps for nine months! This morning, Ed finally shared the news with his followers.
In his post, Ed posted a picture of little cute socks within an incubator. This is the second time he did this as he broke the news this way for his first daughter.
According to 7News, Ed Sheeran and his wife had been long-time friends since childhood. The couple officially began dating in 2015 and got engaged in 2018.
“Got myself a fiancee just before New Year. We are very happy and in love and our cats are chuffed as well.”
As shared by News.com, Ed and Cherry tied the knot later that year with close friends and family. The pair have been working on expanding their family ever since.
Previously, Ed and Cherry were able to keep their first pregnancy a secret as Cherry was pregnant during the pandemic. It was therefore much easier to hide it then.
This time around, people are in complete awe in finding that Ed Sheeran had welcomed a second child into the world with his wife Cherry. Although this comes as a surprise, the singer has shared a wanted more children.
“I’d love more kids man, I’d love it. But it does depend on what Cherry wants too because it’s her body.”

Thus far, Ed never falls short when it comes to praising his wife and admiring her. In previous reports, Ed shared that his wife had pursued a degree while having a baby and was very proud of her.
“She did a whole Cambridge degree which she started two weeks before giving birth. I went to her graduation at Jesus College and people were saying like, ‘How did she do this with a baby?’”
