Ben Fordham Quits Australian Ninja Warrior To Focus On 2GB Radio Show

On Wednesday, Ben Fordham announced he will no longer host the Ninja Warrior Show along with his co-star Rebbecca Maddern. The decision comes as he would like to focus on his family’s needs.

Not too long ago, Ben opened up about losing one of his family members due to an ongoing health struggle.

New Beginnings for Ben Fordham

In an interview Ben Fordham revealed that “it placed so much pressure on my family and on the breakfast show,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.

Apart from his family needs, Ben also feels his focus should be much more on things he can do without forcing other opportunities. He further relayed that it is the best decision for his mental fitness among other things.

Following his announcement leaving the obstacle course show, it has yet to be decided who will replace him. The show returns for its sixth season in 2022.

With regards to his radio show, it is said that viewers have doubled in the amount of AM listeners during the covid pandemic. So it is safe to say that the radio show is doing well.

Ben will surely be missed but he will not be altogether gone as we still have him on the radio show, enlightening us on all things important to Australian listeners.
