Celine Dion has unfortunately been forced to cancel her Courage World Tour due to ongoing health issues. She has thus far completed 52 concerts and is unable to continue based on doctor’s orders.
In a statement released by Celine Dion, she explains how disappointed she is by the actions she has to take. The singer has to cancel the North American leg of her tour. However, Celine will still perform in Birmingham by May this year.
“There’s a lot of organizing and preparation that goes into our shows, and so we have to make decisions today which will affect the plans two months down the road,”

On Saturday, Dion released an official statement explaining that she has been experiencing severe muscle pains that prohibit her from performing. This ongoing struggle has led to her countless concerts being canceled. Celine Dion has apologized profusely to her fans and those who have made plans to travel from other regions to her concerts.

Now, ticket holders of the canceled concerts will receive an automatic refund. That is if they’ve purchased tickets through authorized ticketing outlets.
The canceled concerts are as follows:
Winnipeg at the Canada Life Centre – 14th March
Saskatoon at the SaskTel Centre – 17th March
Edmonton at Rogers Place – 20,21 March
Vancouver at Rogers Arena – 28,29 March
While some concerts have been canceled, the European leg of the Courage World Tour is still scheduled to take place.
