Euphoria season 2 is giving you everything and more. Episode five quite frankly, is a bit chaotic. So, be warned about the content further down this article.
Now, Euphoria has been no stranger to visualizing the way addiction can affect one’s life and the life of those who are close to them. Rue, is no different in this situation.
Rue loses the drugs
As mentioned before, the events that take place in this episode are a bit chaotic and what Rue gets herself into just shows how addiction can change your life.
Well, in this instance, Rue needed to sell $10 000 worth of nicotine. Rue, unfortunately, is unaware of the fact that these drugs have been flushed down. At this point, Rue is caught in a whirlwind as she remembers Laurie’s promise to her about sex trafficking.
Now, Rue is just days from committing suicide and even states this while realizing she is in some deep trouble. Since her mother is responsible for flushing away her narcotics, Rue gives her a piece of her mind and says all the horrible things possible.

Euphoria season 2 brings back something from season one
In her rant, Rue actually goes as far as telling her mother that she is a terrible person and a horrible mother. She continues to say that her late husband would be disappointed to see what his wife is like now.
Now, this isn’t the end of it as Rue goes on to blame her mother for her addiction! I’ll leave you to decide whether that was fair or not but surely no mother would like to hear that.
