Julie Bishop’s best ballbusting death stares

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop was put on the spot when a New Zealand journalist questioned the leadership tension gripping the Liberal Party.

That poor journo was on the receiving end of one helluva glare that looked a little something like this:

The journalist asked if Bishop would stand against Malcolm Turnbull in the event of a successful motion for a leadership spill. To which the Australian foreign minister replied with a glare and: “That’s your idea of an easy question?”.

Bishop continued:

“These are hypothetical questions and this is all based on speculation and rumour. I’ve not seen any source attributed to any particular member or minister. So it’s hypothetical, it’s speculation, I don’t intend to add to it. There was a motion for a leadership spill. It did not succeed.”
