Resident Evil is officially live on Netflix and is pretty much a thriller story about scientists who really messed up. That’s at least what we know right now.
So far, Resident Evil starts off as a series about the end of the world and is set in 2036. Round about then, scientists have already got a huge problem on their hands as discovered that a virus going around the town can make monsters.
At that point, the company has already gotten a reputation for causing chaos. As they aim to clean up its reputation. Unfortunately, the chaos has already begun.
From then onwards, strange creatures from under the ground wreak havoc on the world. With ordinary people fighting for their lives.
While that seems chaotic, the series also incorporates zombies into its narrative. This comes as the virus on their hands causes individuals to morph into something that outwardly seems human but is not.
Now, if you’ve watched Stranger Things and loved the series, you could quench your love for the drama with Resident Evil as the story has a similar storyline. While the latter series does not include zombies, it does include monsters.

So far, many of us get hooked on certain works and get disappointed when we need to wait a long time for a new season. Since Stranger Things will only be renewed for one more season, it’s a good time to check out what else is in entertainment.
Right now, Resident Evil is one of the many series that takes on a similar genre as Stranger Things, Locke and Key, and many other Netflix series.
So, if you haven’t given it a try yet, give it a shot to take away the Stranger Things blues.
