She-Hulk is a little bit nostalgic if we think about the original Hulk that we know. For those who enjoyed the story of Hulk, you’ll surely not be disappointed by the new series.
The story of She-Hulk
As shared by Variety, She-Hulk centers on the cousin Hulk known as Jennifer Walters. To give background, Bruce Banner needed to give Jennifer some of his blood during a blood transfusion.
As a result, Jennifer Walters who is She-Hulk inherits his powers. There is a difference though between the two for obvious reasons but Jennifer can be seen as a more controlled version of the Hulk we know.
If you’ve ever seen the Incredible Hulk, you would know that his powers his prompted by anger or fear. In doing this, he has no control over his emotions, his identity, or what he does.
Character development
This is different for She-Hulk as she is able to be emotionally in control and maintain her identity. In the series, Jennifer works as a lawyer and is quickly promoted to do work in super-human-oriented cases.
From what is shown in the trailer, the life of She-Hulk is not that affected as she is seen going out on dates and even shows off her body transformation to her friends and colleagues.
