Stranger Things has been a favorite all-around and given where the last episodes of season 4 left us, there’s surely much to unpack. Not to mention the loose ends!
Tying up the loose ends
Right now, we have a lot of unanswered questions about what is going to happen with the upside-down, where the team in Hawkins stands with Vecna, and how Hop and his friends will escape from Russia.
Now since Stranger Things will not be renewed for another season, everyone is hoping that the last episode will give them enough closure to move on. To be fair, we have been watching the kids since they were at least ten and now they’re teens!
Nevertheless, Volume 2 of Stranger Things will kick off from where we last left the show. That is, with the crew in Russia and the crew in Hawkins. But, what will happen next?
Stranger Things recap
So, before we get into what will happen in Volume 2, let’s recap what took place before in Hawkins. That is before the upside began to wreak havoc on the city again.
Now, season four of Stranger Things gave an in-depth explanation of why things are the way they are. Previously, Will got caught by the mind flayer who controlled what he did or rather what he felt.
But, in season four, we’ve come to understand that there is a higher power other than the mind flayer which is Vecna. So far we have seen that Vecna targets everyone with past trauma in Stranger Things and kind of searches for his next target by looking in the realm of the real world.

Luckily, Maxine was able to find her inner strength and trust her friends again. Which ultimately allowed her to escape from Vecna when he got her again.
So, some of the questions remain. How did a Demogorgon get to Russia and will Eleven get her powers back?
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix on the 1st of July. Happy watching!
