EMERGING back in 1988, the original and credible Floyd act, The Australian Pink Floyd Show, has been getting bigger and better ever since. The band were once described by Floyd drummer Nick Mason on BBC 5 Live as “very good, probably better than we are” and were even engaged by David Gilmour to perform at his 50th birthday celebration.
Hailed by Sunday Times as “the best tribute band in the world”, and having sold over 3 million tickets world wide, the Australian Pink Floyd Show is set to return with a series of 29 headline shows across the UK in February and March 2012.
Before that though, on Sunday 17 July, they will be filming a special show at the Hammersmith Apollo and you could be there to watch them. Australian Times and Aussie Floyd are giving away 100 pairs of tickets on a first come first served basis. All you need to do is register your name and email address here. The spaces will go fast so get in quick or else you could be left wishing you were… there.
As of 12 July, free tickets are no longer available.
