Ivana Trump may widely be known as the ex-wife of former president Donald. But, the entrepreneur was a businesswoman in her own right.
Thus far, Ivana Trump is reported to have passed on in her Manhattan home this past Thursday. Her cause of death is yet to be confirmed. However, New York police suspect that she might have suffered from cardiac arrest.
At the time, New York police received a call about an unresponsive individual in a Manhattan apartment. By the time paramedics arrived, Ivana Trump had already passed and was declared dead on the scene.
To date, Ivana Trump was married to the former president from 1977 to 1992. In their divorce settlement, Ivana was awarded $25 million and $650 000 in annual child support until her children reached the age of 18.
In the settlement, Ivana Trump also received the family home in Connecticut. The entrepreneur also played a big role in the rise of the Trump Tower.
With the millions awarded to Ivana , the former skier and model decided to launch multiple businesses which included the House of Ivana Fashion and Fragrance company in 1995.
During her decorated career, the entrepeneur also became an author of a self-help book, her autobiography, and even started her own lifestyle magazine as reported by 7News.
Thus far, both Donald Trump and his son Eric Trump paid tribute to the late Ivana.
“Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend,” Eric Trump wrote. “She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination.”

The former president shared a short tribute to his wife. Honoring all she has done and what she has accomplished during her lifetime.
“She was a wonderful, beautiful and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”
