Ivana Trump was remembered by her family as a woman that raised her children with an iron fist but also encouraged them to achieve whatever they would dream of.
In the words of Ivanka Trump, her mother “was a trailblazer by men and women alike. My mother once told me there was nothing she couldn’t do in heels. She taught us how to spearfish and then cook what we caught. My mum expanded our minds.”
To date, the businesswoman is confirmed to have died as a result of a previous injury to her torso. Ivana Trump is reported to have fallen downstairs a while before she passed on.
Thus far, Donald Trump did not pay tribute to his late wife at the funeral. However, his two children Ivanka and Eric Trump shared a few words about their mother.
“She had brains, she had beauty. She was the embodiment of the American dream,” her son Eric said in his speech.
Previously, Donald Trump and Ivana Trump were married for fifteen years before they eventually called it quits. Their divorce was extremely public and brutally ugly.
After things calmed down, Ivana and Donald became good friends. As Ivana previously shared that they were in contact with one another regularly.
Thus far, Ivana Trump was laid to rest in a gold-toned coffin while surrounded by her family as well as Donald’s family.

As shared by ABC News, Ivana Trump has played a big role in some of the designs of the Trump Tower and also ran a few businesses alongside Donald Trump.
During the news of her death, Trump paid tribute to his late ex-wife and noted that it was a very sad day at the knowledge of her passing.
“A very sad day, but at the same time a celebration of a wonderful and beautiful life,”
