Larry Emdur opened up about his career experiences so far. He shared that he will be detailing all of this in his new memoir “Happy As”.
Thus far, Larry relayed that contract negotiations are pretty tough. He recalled a conversation with then Channel Seven chief in which he described having a bruised ego.
In the conversation with the late David Heckie, Larry Emdur shared that David shared some harsh words with him.
“Emdur, you f**kwit, I have 100 people at this network who would walk over broken glass and eat s**t to do your job for free,”
This is about a snippet of what Larry has detailed in his memoir. Which is set to be released sometime in August.
To date, Larry Emdur was the youngest newsreader at just 17-years-old and has paved his way through television since.
As reported by 7News, Larry aims at sharing this experience as the pandemic, the bushfires, and the flood has made things look pretty bleak for everyone.
“I think everything’s so grim and grey at the moment with the pandemic and the floods and the bushfires and I think people really like that (nostalgic stuff) in their own life.

He added that giving out a bit of nostalgia would help to mitigate the dark cloud that’s been hanging over Australians.
