Maggie Beer is honoring the life of her late daughter, Saskia Beer. At this time, Maggie and her husband will be continuing their daughter’s legacy by helping an enthusiastic Australian with a scholarship.
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving Australian who will be granted an opportunity to learn something new in another country. The lucky recipient will be able to pursue their dreams but they do have the responsibility to bring the skills back home and contribute to the community at large.
Maggie Beer and her husband have gone on a similar path in being awarded this scholarship and thought it a good idea to give another person an opportunity they have received. The scholarship will allow the individual to spend at least eight to four weeks on their particular course. Maggie Beer added that the duration really depends on what the person wants to learn.
Saskia Beer sadly passed on in her sleep in February 2020. Her cause of death has not been made apparent. She did, however, pass on during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic. Her family relayed that she died in her sleep but had passed on peacefully.
Her husband whom she married in April that same year, shared that her legacy will continue with him. During the time of her passing, her family asked the media to respect their privacy while they grieve their loss. For the family, her passing was a private matter as she died during the pandemic.
