Moses Ingram receives support from co-star following racist messages

Moses Ingram took to Instagram to share the hate she received after the new spinoff series was released on Disney plus. Thus far, Ewan Mcgregor shared some of his thoughts on the hate trolls. 

Right now, Moses Ingram is the newest face of the Star Wars franchise. The actress currently plays Reva on the new series based on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Thus far, Star Wars has released a statement on its official account. The franchise shared their excitement with the actress joining their franchise.  

“We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold,”

While the company has not previously been vocal about racism towards their actors and actresses, they decided to take a firm stance in communicating where they stand on racist remarks and hate alike. 

“If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist.”

Star Wars and Disney become vocal about racist attacks

According to ABC News, Kelly Marie Tran and Daisy Ridley are songs by some of the cast that was previously bullied. However, Disney was not as vocal as they had chosen to be with Ingram.

So far, Ewan Mcgregor has also made his feelings known about the ongoing racist attacks Moses Ingram has been receiving. To date, the star has also received threats via Instagram DMs. 

“Moses is a brilliant actor, she’s a brilliant woman and she’s absolutely amazing in this series, she brings so much to the series and so much to the franchise and it just sickened me to my stomach to hear that this had been happening,”
