Priscilla Presley is honoring the life of her late husband Elvis Presley with an exhibition. She also shared some of her favorite memories with ABC Radio.
According to ABC News, Priscilla Presley is allowing the worldwide artist to be remembered for what he was before his passing. As reported by the Financial Review, the exhibition will include over 300 artifacts for fans to see.
In her interview with ABC, Priscilla opened up about keeping the Graceland estate as it had sentimental value. She relayed that Elvis got this property for his parents and that he always wanted to cherish it.
At one point, Priscilla Presley relayed that she had not seen the Graceland estate before but Elvis had taken her there as a surprise. She described the way Elvis told her to close her eyes before entering the estate.
“It was like going to Disney Land”
She explained that upon opening her eyes, an array of lights came up. Priscilla said it felt like she was driving through Disney Land. In her interview with ABC’s Brian, Priscilla Presley shared that Elvis was a romantic. Well, evidently he was.
In recent years, the Graceland estate was facing the potential of being sold. But Priscilla Presley had fought hard for it to remain within the family.

While delving into the past, Priscilla relayed that she always attended much of his concerts but of course did not go to every single one of them. She further added that she could understand the hype of the concerts Elvis performed at.
Thus far, viewers and fans will be able to see the wedding dress of Priscilla as well as the tuxedo of Elvis Presley. Among some of the pieces shown would be the jumpsuits Elvis wore as well as glasses and one of the cars he owned.
The Graceland estate is currently one of the most visited places.
