Thus far, women have not been included on the global cover of FIFAs games every year. Generally, women are only included on the regional cover of FIFA to date.

Right now, Sam Kerr will be the only woman to grace the cover of the popular soccer game thus far. To date, a game is released every year with different sports stars on the cover.

So far, Kylian Mbappe will be on the cover for the third time now. The inclusion of Sam on the latest FIFA 23 cover is a result of women being recognized more and more in the sports world, especially soccer.
