Taylor Hawkins has sadly lost his life this past weekend and many fans and friends have been taken aback by the drummer’s sudden death.
According to 7News, forensics has found 10 substances in his body. One of which was anti-depressants. They are currently working on finding the root cause of his death and will do so in a timely manner.
Just days ago, a little girl set up her drum set outside of the hotel Taylor Hawkins was staying at. The meet and greet between the little girl and the family were one of the last times a fan would get to see him again.
As reported by 7News, emergency services got a call on Friday about a patient that was experiencing chest pains. Parademics arrived on the scene but Taylor was already unresponsive.
Previously, Taylor had suffered an overdose of heroin in 2001 and was in a coma for two weeks. Taylor Hawkins has also admitted that he had been partying a lot following his overdose.
So far, Taylor has been very successful in his career from singing lead in Foo Fighters to releasing two albums with other groups.

At the time of his passing, Foo Fighters were set to headline the Brazilian Festival. He also called the festival’s founders in a heartwarming voice note.
“Take care of each other and I’ll take care of myself. And I’ll see you in Soa Paolo.”

Officials have since removed the drummer’s body from the hotel and has opened an investigation into the drummer’s death. The sudden passing came as a shock to many fans as they expected to see him perform on that exact night.
Instead, a vigil was held in remembrance of Taylor Hawkins. He leaves behind his wife and three children.
