Thor Love and Thunder is kind of what you would describe as getting your groove back with the Thunder god impressively working away his dad bod to his superhero figure once again.
But, some things can be a bit disappointing given that you’ve had some expectations of the film. So far, that includes the short Guardians of the Galaxy cameos that took place.
Previously, the trailer to the film gave a look into what to expect from the film which included The Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, seeing that they appeared in the trailer, one would expect them to be a part of their coming battle.
Alas, Love and Thunder do not seek to include much of The Guardians of the Galaxy as the film inevitably centers a lot on Thor and his now purposeless life. This is even more telling when Jane Foster appears to have embodied the power of the new Thor.
In the beginning, Thor appears to be with the Guardians of the Galaxy for quite a short time. After he had lost some weight and seeks to go on his new endeavor. Which is finding out who he is without his mighty hammer.
When Jane Foster reveals herself to be the new Thor, it is evident that there is still some lingering tension between the two with their cute flirty moments.
Now, however disappointing the film might be in some areas, Love and Thunder is entertaining nonetheless. Probably the most entertaining part is Thor being stripped from all his clothes. Pretty sure everyone waited for that for a long time.

According to The Atlantic, Thor Love and Thunder juggle a lot for their storyline this time, but the one fixed thing remains around Gorr who is obviously seeking to wreak havoc and kill all the gods.
