Ulises Davila sadly lost his wife this past Sunday. Thus far, the cause of her death has not been shared. This comes two years after their sons birth.

This morning MacArthur FC has shared their condolences to Ulises Davila. The sportsman recently celebrated the milestone of being the Bulls player of the year.
“We are saddened to hear Ulises Davila’s wife, Lily has tragically past away overnight.”

In 2020, Ulises Davila could not be with his family due to Covid-19 protocols. As a result, the football player was able to meet his son via Facetime.
Recently, Ulises Davila celebrated the title of player of the year with his wife Lily. According to 7News, Ulises scored the most goals out of the team 26 games they’ve had thus far.

Thus far, Davila was previously signed to Chelsea before moving to Australia. It wasn’t until he signed with the MacArthur Bulls that the couple moved to Australia. To date, Davila still has two years left on his three-year contract with the club.
Right now, Davila has not released a statement himself but the football community stands behind him during this difficult time. Rival teams have also come in support of Divila. His former club, the Wellington Phoenix has also shared its condolences.
