Google engineers released a video showing the test flights of their ‘Project Wing’ self-flying delivery drones in Australia.
Google’s drones are in response to attempts by fast food restaurants and Amazon to come up with greener and less labour intensive solutions to delivering their products.
Google’s ‘Project Wing’ features drones with a wingspan of 1.5m and propelled with electrical props.

The Internet giant says the drones have delivered small items, including a first aid kit, candy bars, dog treats, and water to farmers in Queensland, Australia. But without a funding partner, and opposition from some groups raising privacy concerns, the future of the project is not clear.
