Xavier Musk has filed court documents in aid to changing his name as well as gender as they do not want any ties to their father.
The now transgender Xavier Musk now wants their name changed to Viviane Genna Wilson. According to the Daily Mail, they do not want anything to do with Elon Musk. Thus far, no reasons have been given for the legal change in name.
To date, Xavier Musk has turned 18 and almost immediately filed documents for a name change. While this has nothing to do with being identified as a transgender woman, they no longer wish to be related to Elon Musk in any ‘shape or form’.
“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”
Thus far, Xavier Musk seeks to take on their mother’s maiden name which is Wilson. Justine Wilson who was married to Elon Musk from 2000 to 2008 shares five children with the billionaire.
The author and mother of five have triplets with the Telsa CEO and a set of twins, of which Xavier forms part. To date, the twins came as a result of an IVF process their mother went through.

As mentioned before, no reasons have been given for the change in last name or reasons for cutting ties with the businessman. Right now, it is not clear if Xavier gets any form of support from their father.
As reported by TMZ, the court case is set to proceed this Friday.
