Please see the basic requirements for a Skilled Migration visa on the overview page.
This visa is similar to the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189), however the key difference is that you must be nominated for sponsorship by a state or territory. The process, requirements and rules are largely the same, however you will need to meet the sponsorship requirements and have work experience in a role listed in the relevant State Migration Plan.
Once you receive your visa, you will be required to live and work in the nominated state or territory for the first two years in Australia.
