A number of videos have been posted to YouTube, capturing the tragic moment a small aircraft crashed into Perth’s Swan River.

A man and a woman, the pilot and only passenger, were killed when the Grumman G-73 ‘Mallard’ sea-plane nose-dived into the river at around 5pm.
The plane broke up on impact, to the shock of an estimated 300,000 onlookers who were assembled on the river’s banks awaiting a special Australia Day sky show which was subsequently cancelled.
