Boris Johnson will officially step down as Prime Minister in the coming days. Right now, the cabinet will be looking for a replacement.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson resigns
Thus far, Boris Johnson will continue as Prime Minister until his role is fulfilled. During his speech, Boris relayed that he will aim to give as much support to him or her.
Right now, it seems that many are in fact in agreement with the Prime Minister’s resignation. While delivering the news, Boris Johnson shared that he is heartbroken to step down.
“I want you to know how sad I am to be giving up the best job in the world, but then’s the breaks.”
To date, the Prime Minister has thanked and apologized to the public who voted for his party back in 2019. However, many do not relate to Johnson’s speech nor do they think it is sincere.
Predictably, Boris Johnson is not taking responsibility. He blames the Conservative Party for wanting a new leader. He suggests they have scuppered his 'mandate'. He will never change, and perhaps that's the best insight he has into himself.

Just watching Boris Johnson’s resignation. He failed to take responsibility for his actions at any point during his term as Prime Minister and continued to fail to take responsibility for the chaos he caused in that speech. #BorisJohnson
