Daring Aussies bare all in Naked Bike Ride

Cyclists took to the streets this weekend in the southern hemisphere for the World Naked Bike Ride.

Essentially, cyclists go commando or use their bodies as canvases to expose their vulnerability as cyclists, as well as that of humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression consumerism and non-renewable energy.

On 8 March, cyclists in Melbourne dared to bare (as much as they wanted) and sported body paint to highlight their various causes.

Cyclists in London, and approximately 50 other cities, will do the same in June during their summer.

Talk about ‘bums on seats’. Here are a few of our favourite pics from this year’s ride.
