Enmore theatre has been closed for an estimated two years, almost as long as the pandemic has been around. Thus far, people have been waiting to have their normal lives back and that includes some festivities. The groundbreaking event will be rescheduled.
Enmore Theatre floor sinks in
While the crowd was enjoying the concert, singer Owusu had no idea why the crowd started to form a circle. He surmised that they were preparing for the next song. When actually, the floor started caving in.
Right now, authorities have confirmed that the shift in the floors at the Enmore Theatre is a result of the heavy rain that hit Sydney recently. The floors are being inspected and are expected to be repaired as soon as possible according to ABC News. However, fans will have to wait for a new rescheduled date for the concert owed to them.

During the incident, it was confirmed that no one was injured at the Enmore Theatre and that everyone is healthy and safe. Genesis Owusu relayed that the concert will be done at another time as the safety of the fans is of priority.
At first, Owusu thought that there had been some technical difficulties. This was when he was told to stop the show in his earpiece. When things started to calm down, it was evident that the floor in the Enmore Theatre had started to sink in.
