Police have confirmed that three people have been shot, leaving one man dead, in a siege in Sydney on Monday.
Of the two other victims, one is undergoing emergency surgery at Liverpool Hospital while the other suffered minor injuries.

The suspected shooter is, at the time of writing, still holed up in a factory in the western Sydney suburb or Ingleburn. It is being reported that the suspect is holding at least three hostages as police attempt to negotiate with him.

A 1km exclusion zone has been set up around the scene.
The siege began late on Monday morning. On arrival at the scene shortly after, police say they found three males, one deceased and two others with gunshot wounds.
It is also being reported that a man has been arrested at the scene for hindering police investigations.
