Jordan Cashmyer appeared on teen mom for six seasons. Her death was announced by her stepmother on a Facebook account. Since her passing, MTV has issued condolences to the family.
Presently, the cause of her death is yet to be confirmed. A post on behalf of the family asked that people do respect their privacy in this difficult time. Her mother also expressed how difficult it is for her to lose a child and that no one should ever feel the loss of a child.
“My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old, Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER.”

In the reality tv show, Jordan Cashmyer shared her life with the world, including her struggles with addiction. The tv show also followed the teen’s struggle in being homeless before giving birth to her daughter Evie. Her family did not approve of her relationship with former boyfriend Derek Taylor. She was simultaneously disowned as a result.

The relationship between Derek and Jordan proved to be rocky time and time again. As reported by People, the two would later split after the completion of filming the show.
After giving birth to Evie, Jordan Cashmyer gave Derek Taylor’s mother temporary custody as a result of her homeless situation. The reality star also struggled to find a job at that particular point in time. In addition, Jordan Cashmyer has also been arrested for the possession of drugs.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Jordan Cashmyer turned to other various ways of earning an income such as escorting after being disowned by her family. However, in good news, Jordan Cashmyer shared images of her and her friends celebrating a year of sobriety in 2021.
Sadly, her death comes just six months after giving birth to her second child.
