Leader’s debate or competition is what this can easily be blurred into. On Wednesday, Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese took to the debate for the upcoming elections.
Thus far, it is never easy to decide who will be the next Prime Minister or who will not. That is why the leader’s debate sets the tone for every decision you make thereafter.
In a grilling leader’s debate, Scott Morrison could very easily corner Anthony Albanese into a difficult question. So far, it proved a testing time but it isn’t over yet.
Right now, the leader’s debate left Anothony Albanese as the winner this week as he held his composure and knew exactly how he wanted to answer the difficult question.
As reported by News.com, Anthony Albanese ultimately won the first leader’s debate after voters tallied about 40% of votes for him. Whereas Scott Morrison only got 35% of the votes.
In their revealing exchange, both were grilled by the audience on matters that mean most to them. Quite frankly, how it is answered could make or break them, although it is too early to tell.
One such difficult question was in relation to affordable housing. An audience member asked what they were going to do about this and the answer was not too bad.
“Not only have we toughened the laws on foreign ownership in this country for residential real estate, but more importantly, I increased the resources for the Australian Taxation Office to make sure they‘re being complied with,”
Scott Morrison
So far, Scott Morrison has time and again shown the public that he is doing the best he can and that he has made an attempt to change things for the better.
In the weeks ahead we will get to see much more of the two leaders going head to head.
