The Melbourne Cup 2015 has been won by Prince of Penzance, making Australian racing history.

Ridden by jockey Michelle Payne and trained by Darren Weir, the New Zealand horse took out the 3,200m ‘race that stops the nation’ to Max Dynamite which came in second place while Criterion ran home third.
