NSW Restrictions: A Few Difficult Weeks For Australians Ahead

NSW Restrictions will be re-introduced to mitigate the effects of the upcoming surge. This will in effect be a few difficult weeks for Australians according to NSW Premier.

As the coronavirus infections increase, the only logical plan is to introduce some restrictions so that the severity of the omicron surge, due to come in the coming weeks will not impact everyone on a severe level.

Since the pandemic began, infections have come through in abundance, and the infections this time around with the omicron variant are proving to be just as chaotic. So, the Premier of NSW decided it best to implement some restrictions to lessen the impact on hospitals.

So, the NSW restrictions are as follows

No dancing or singing will be allowed in all hospital venues, entertainment facilities, and major recreation facilities. In addition, elective surgeries will be paused. This is in an effort to have as many hands to help in the health sector as possible.

In addition, mingling with others is to be kept at a minimum to avoid any new possible infections. These rules will, however, come to pass on January 27th. So Australians won’t have to keep to these rules for too long.

At this time, the pandemic should be coming to an end. Many are hopeful that after the Omicron Variant, fewer variants or less impactful variants will come to pass.

While this may be a few difficult weeks, pushing through it will not be as harsh as when the coronavirus first hit the world.

Now the rules in place are temporary and life will soon come back to some sort of normalcy again.
