A passanger plane crash-landed into a river outside Taiwan’s capital Taipei on Wednesday with 58 people on board.
The shocking moment of the aircraft coming down was captured on video by a motorist. Their dashboard camera filmed the plane as it came down, listing onto its side as it careened over the motorway.
TransAsia Flight GE235 clipped a road bridge before plunging into the on the outskirts of Taiwan’s capital in New Taipei City.
Rescue personnel were quickly on the scene, attempting to free passengers from the half submerged aircraft. 58 people are believed to have been on board. It is being reported that at least 12 passengers were killed.
