While the Friday concert has been canceled Splendor in the grass will continue as normal on Saturday and Sunday.

Presently, the event has been inundated with water. Leading festival goers to be stuck in ticket queues for at least two hours or more.
Right now, many performers have either pulled out of the concert or performances have been canceled. Individuals at the festival were unable to enter the venue which meant they were unable to access food for many hours.
As shared by The Guardian, festival-goers at Splendor in the grass noted how the event planners did not communicate anything about the concert. Whilst things were incredibly chaotic.
Thus far, one festival goer shared that cars were running out of petrol while some were being towed out of the line. What’s more, is that people needed to urinate wherever.
“There were literally cars breaking down, running out of fuel, people pulling over on the side of the road because their car’s battery has died. Tow trucks were coming in and pulling cars out of the queue, and people were peeing on the side of the road. Truly horrible, literally the whole night.”
