A trio of software developers and App designers has released a browser extension that replaces online photos of Prime Minister Tony Abbott with cute kittens.
“Are you someone who likes to keep up to date with the latest news, but can’t stand the sight of Tony Abbott’s face?” is designer Matt Kelsh’s pitch on Twitter.
His collaborator Dan Nolan says the Stop Tony Meow extension was a way to “lower your blood pressure without aspirin”.
Software developer Ben Taylor also contributed.
Currently the extension only works for Chrome users but a Safari version is in development, according to StopTonyMeow.com
When in use, it overlays pictures tagged with “Tony Abbott” so you instead see cat photos. – AAP
