The Tinie one told British tabloid the Daily Star he is so famous that he has trouble just getting about London.
“Australia is my getaway place,” Tempah said.
“I don’t want anyone taking pictures of me eating. Sometimes you want to call your mates up and say: ‘Let’s go to the cinema,’ but then the minute you go, everyone’s acting strange.”
“When you get back to your reality you think: ‘F*** — maybe we shouldn’t have done it like this’.”
So instead he says he wants to move from the UK to Australia and change his name.
“One day I think I’ll start my life again over there and call myself Gilbert or something,” the bespectacled garage singer said.
“The problem here is I get treated differently now because I’m famous,” he said.
“Saying that, I do walk into Tesco sometimes!”
Poor thing. We hope he is familiar with Jimmy Barnes and knows how to get to Coles.
